Description: The town of Kenmare, situated along the Ring of Kerry, County Kerry has recently, and is currently experiencing, a large growth rate with the scenic Town being an attractive place to live for the Summer months and for retirement. Both the existing Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal systems in Kenmare are inadequate to meet the current and future demands.

The work involved in this project is twofold and involves works to upgrade and expand both the Potable Water Distribution Network and on the Foul and Storm Water Collection systems
The Contract involves the laying of various new watermains throughout Kenmare and its environs, together with connections to existing watermains and Domestic and Commercial connections.

The works proposed for construction comprise of:
a. Raw Water Mains
b. Potable Water Distribution Mains
d. Main Drainage Works

Approx 23450m of watermains in total, varying in sizes from 50mm to 400mm diameter
